Haris MartinosHaris Martinos is a local and regional development expert with studies at NTU Athens, Oxford Brooks University and London School of Economics, and with hands-on experience in practically all European and many other countries. After a career in local government in the UK, he founded LRDP (Local and Regional Development Planning) in 1986 with offices in London, Brussels and other European cities, and carried out a large number of research and consultancy projects for the EU and other clients. He is now an independent expert, secretary-general of the think-tank Local Development Network (LDnet) and an advisor to the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR). He is also a member of the board of "Friends of Paros" and has coordinated the initiative "Paros 2020" and FoP's tourism surveys of 20102 and 2013. He is based in London and Brussels and on the Aegean island of Paros. |
